In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Port Neches-Groves Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks.
The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamar (Houston, TX). The Texans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Lamar was beaten by Nimitz (Houston, TX), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 20. Hardin-Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
