In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Northern Guilford Nighthawks soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 victory over the Bishop McGuinness Villains.
The Nighthawks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record.
The Villains now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenn for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 19. Bishop McGuinness will clash with a Bobcats team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-0.
