In Wednesday's non-league test, the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) softball squad nudged the visiting Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA), by a score of 2-1.
With the triumph, Carrollton improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Northgate (Newnan, GA) to face the Vikings in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 3. The Vikings enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
The Hawks now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paulding County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 26.
