The Midway Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Cleveland Rams to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Raiders now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host South Johnston for a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 19. Midway will play a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Cleveland drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Thursday, August 14. The Colts go into the game with a record of 1-0. Cape Fear won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against South Central (Winterville, NC)
