In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Spencer County Bears soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Thomas Nelson Generals.
The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Generals play the Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 14. Thomas Nelson will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Male (Louisville, KY).
