North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cannon tips Christ the King

August 13, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) and the host Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC), observed Cannon's volleyball team hold off Christ the King by a count of 3-2.

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Carmel Christian was edged by Covenant Day (Matthews, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Crusaders now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop McGuinness for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. Christ the King will encounter a Villains team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Villains record now stands at 1-0.
