North Carolina High School Volleyball - Holmes tips South Central

August 13, 2025: Winterville, NC 28590

In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Holmes Aces volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the South Central Falcons.

The Aces (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last test, First Flight was edged by Perquimans (Hertford, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Brunswick for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. South Central will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
