The Apex Cougars held off the host Willow Spring Storm volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fuquay - Varina for a non-league test on Monday, August 21.
The Storm (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Athens Drive held off Cary (Cary, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
