The Southmoore SaberCats softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Putnam City Pirates to 0 in the SaberCats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Southmoore improves its record to 4-7 on the year. The SaberCats host Charles Page (Sand Springs, OK) to clash with the Sandites in a non-league game on Tuesday, August 15. The Sandites come into the game with a record of 4-4.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK) in a non-league game, on Friday, August 18. Putnam City will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Bombers come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 15-6 non-league loss to Edmond North (Edmond, OK).
