Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY), 4-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Taylor County moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Garrard County (Lancaster, KY) to meet the Golden Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. The Golden Lions come into the test with a record of 1-1. Garrard County won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Model (Richmond, KY)

The Generals now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bardstown for a District 19 test on Monday, August 19. Thomas Nelson will meet a Tigers team coming off a 0-0 non-league Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
