Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) and the visiting Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), saw West Cabarrus's soccer squad prevail over Central Academy by a score of 4-0.

The Wolverines (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Mount Tabor by A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 29. Central Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
