West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Caldwell improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 1-0. South Caldwell won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against West Iredell (Statesville, NC)

The Patriots now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Burke for a non-league test on Saturday, August 17. Freedom will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-2.
