North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hopewell can't get by South Mecklenburg

The South Mecklenburg Sabres edged the visiting Hopewell Titans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Sabres face the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 15. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Mavericks go into the game with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).
