Dutchtown Bulldogs (Hampton, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Creekside Seminoles (Fairburn, GA), 15-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Dutchtown improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Northgate (Newnan, GA) to play the Vikings in a 5A Region 3 game on Thursday, August 15. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 2-1.

The Seminoles now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pace Academy for a 4A Region 4 game on Monday, August 19. Creekside will play a Knights squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 2-1.
