In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets softball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Statesboro Blue Devils.
The Yellow Jackets (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Lanier County tipped Charlton County (Folkston, GA), 10-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 15. Statesboro will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 1-3 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Wayne County (Jesup, GA).
