In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT), by a margin of 6-1.
The Bengals now hold a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Wasatch for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 15. Brighton will encounter a Wasps squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Park City (Park City, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Hillcrest drops to 1-3 on the season. The Huskies host Hunter (West Valley City, UT) to battle the Wolverines in a 5A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, August 19. The Wolverines enter the contest with a record of 3-0. Hunter won 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT)
