With the triumph, Mercer County moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Titans host Lincoln County (Stanford, KY) to confront the Patriots in a non-league outing on Monday, August 18. The Patriots go into the outing with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Briar Jumpers confront the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, August 19. Somerset will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
