In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the West Mecklenburg Hawks.

The Wolves (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record.

The Hawks now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olympic for a non-league test on Monday, August 18.
