In Thursday's non-league bout, the Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) volleyball team held off the host Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), by a margin of 3-2.
The Tigers now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Tri-Cities for a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 20.
With the loss, Union Grove drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to battle the Knights in a non-league match on Saturday, August 30. The Knights enter the match with a record of 2-0.
