North Carolina High School Soccer - Mallard Creek toppled by Western Alamance

Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC), 9-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Western Alamance moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Reidsville (Reidsville, NC) to meet the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, August 18. The Rams enter the outing with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Mavericks confront the Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, August 18. Mallard Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Ravens enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
