Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) and the host Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), saw North Davidson's soccer squad hold off Southeast Guilford by a score of 3-2.
The Black Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Wheatmore was tipped by Glenn (Kernersville, NC), 5-1, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ragsdale for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 20.
