The Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY) soccer overwhelmed the host Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY), 8-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Blackcats now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Casey County for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. Prestonsburg will battle a Rebels team coming off a 6-0 league loss to Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Knott County Central was overwhelmed by Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 8-1, in a non-league contest.
