The Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK) softball routed the visiting Catoosa Indians (Catoosa, OK), 8-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Trojans now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pawhuska for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Caney Valley will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Huskies record now stands at 3-2.
The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Sequoyah (Claremore, OK). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Sequoyah was routed by Vinita (Vinita, OK), 6-3, in a league test.
