The Checotah Wildcats softball squad (Checotah, OK), was routed 5-1 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK)

With the triumph, Hilldale improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hornets travel to Jenks (Jenks, OK) to battle the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 16. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Jenks won 14-1 in their recent non-league bout against Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK)

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 15. Checotah will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
