Next up, the Spartans face the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a 3A Region 6 contest, on Saturday, August 16. Greater Atlanta Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 17-3 non-league win over Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA).

The War Eagles now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Gainesville for a non-league contest on Saturday, August 16. Chestatee will clash with a Red Elephants team coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Red Elephants record now stands at 3-0.
