In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sapulpa Chieftains softball team scored a tight 4-1 win over the Cushing Tigers.
The Chieftains (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Cleveland (Cleveland, OK). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Cleveland nipped Stroud (Stroud, OK), 13-1, in a non-league game.
