The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) and the host Forsyth Central Bulldogs (Cumming, GA), observed Lumpkin County's softball team prevail over Forsyth Central by a tally of 17-4.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans go into the 3A Region 6 bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Greater Atlanta Christian knocked off Chestatee (Gainesville, GA), 11-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Denmark (Alpharetta, GA) in a 6A Region 6 bout, on Tuesday, August 19. Forsyth Central will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
