Shattuck Indians (Shattuck, OK) fans exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their softball team run past the host Maysville Warriors (Maysville, OK), 18-2 in a non-league match.
The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their match against McLoud (McLoud, OK). The Redskins come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, McLoud notched a victory over Meeker (Meeker, OK), 12-2, in a non-league game.
The Warriors now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Altus for a non-league game on Friday, August 15. Maysville will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-1 league win over MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
