The Palacios Sharks topped the host Angleton Christian Warriors volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Sharks now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Bloomington for a non-league outing on Friday, August 15. Palacios will play a Bobcats/Lady Cats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Bobcats/Lady Cats record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Angleton Christian drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Wharton (Wharton, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 0-4. Wharton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Tidehaven (El Maton, TX)
