North Carolina High School Volleyball - Excelsior Classical Academy over Ascend Leadership

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Ascend Leadership Aviators.

With the win, Excelsior Classical Academy advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Flying Lions host Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC) to face the Bobcats in a Triangle North 1A/2A test on Tuesday, August 19. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 2-0.

The Aviators now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clover Garden School for a Central Tar Heel 1A test on Tuesday, August 19. Ascend Leadership will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-1.
