Texas High School Volleyball - Word of God Academy tips Big Sandy

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Word of God Academy Force (Shreveport, LA) and the host Big Sandy Wildcats (Big Sandy, TX), saw Word of God Academy's volleyball squad nudge Big Sandy by a score of 2-1.

The Force (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carlisle (Price, TX). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Carlisle was tipped by Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maud for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19. Big Sandy will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to CHAAMP HomeSchool (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-3.
