Texas High School Volleyball - Sweeny over Bloomington

In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Sweeny Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats.

With the win, Sweeny improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Bay City (Bay City, TX) to play the Blackcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14. The Blackcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Bay City won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX)

In their next game, the Bobcats/Lady Cats face the Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 14. Bloomington will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Flatonia (Flatonia, TX).
