In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lanier Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Callaway Chargers.

The Chargers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jim Hill for a non-league test on Monday, August 18. Callaway will face a Tigers squad coming off a 25-15 non-league win over Provine (Jackson, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
