The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Carter-Riverside (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Carter-Riverside went down by North Side (Fort Worth, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Venus for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Diamond Hill-Jarvis will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
