The Hornets (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Linden-Kildare got by Maud (Maud, TX), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avery for a non-league test on Friday, August 15. Como-Pickton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
