In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting El Toro Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Costa Mesa Mustangs.
The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Trabuco Hills was defeated by Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mission Viejo for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Costa Mesa will face a Diablos squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA). The Diablos record now stands at 0-2.
