Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Perrin-Whitt improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Pirates travel to Joshua Christian (Joshua, TX) to face the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 15. Dawson will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Freeman (Katy, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
