Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Eastside Early College Panthers (Austin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Silver Foxes now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Eastwood for a non-league outing on Friday, August 15. Jefferson will play a Troopers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Troopers record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Eastside Early College drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Crockett (Austin, TX) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, August 15. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 1-2. Crockett lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX)
