In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Edgewood Bulldogs.
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumby (Cumby, TX). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Cumby went down by Quitman (Quitman, TX), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caddo Mills for a non-league test on Thursday, August 14. Edgewood will face a Foxes team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Royse City (Royse City, TX). The Foxes record now stands at 1-1.
