The Nixon Mustangs prevailed the host Gainesville Leopards volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Peaster Greyhounds (Peaster, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 14. Nixon will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Springtown (Springtown, TX).
