The Hickory Grove Christian Lions volleyball squad (Charlotte, NC), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks (Waxhaw, NC)

With the win, NorthPoint Christian Academy improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The NightHawks host HOPE Academy (Concord, NC) to encounter the Royals in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 21. The Royals enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
