Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Whitehouse Wildcats (Whitehouse, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Franklin beat Canutillo (Canutillo, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 15. Whitehouse will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX).
