The Panthers now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sulphur Bluff for a non-league outing on Friday, August 15. North Lamar will play a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mabank (Mabank, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.

The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Bears go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Sulphur Bluff was dropped by Prairiland (Pattonville, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
