The Southwest Guilford Cowboys volleyball squad (High Point, NC), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

With the win, Oceanside Collegiate Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Landsharks travel to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 16. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Cowboys now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nation Ford for a non-league contest on Friday, August 15.
