Texas High School Volleyball - Paris over Rains

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX) and the visiting Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX), observed Paris's volleyball team top Rains by a tally of 2-0.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon beat Queen City (Queen City, TX), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 15. Rains will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Edgewood (Edgewood, TX).
