In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Vista Ridge Rangers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pflugerville Connally Cougars.

The Rangers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Fort Bend Elkins beat Brazoswood (Clute, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crockett for a non-league test on Saturday, August 16. Pflugerville Connally will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
