Kentucky High School Soccer - South Laurel knocks off Whitley County

South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals face the Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 18. South Laurel will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
The Colonels now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harlan County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 16. Whitley County will face a Black Bears team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to South Laurel (London, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 0-2.
