The Vance County Vipers volleyball team (Henderson, NC), went down 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC)

The Griffins (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kerr-Vance Academy (Henderson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Vipers encounter the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 17. Vance County will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
