The Jonesboro Cardinals topped the host Lithia Springs Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Cities for a non-league test on Thursday, August 18. Jonesboro will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Decatur (Decatur, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their test against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, McEachern was knocked off by Dominion Christian (Marietta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
