The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) and the visiting North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY), saw Meade County's volleyball squad nip North Hardin by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Meade County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Green Waves host Daviess County (Owensboro, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Bardstown for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 16. North Hardin will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
